Society for Military History Student Papers
The Society for Military History sponsors the award for the best graduate student paper in Military History at the NGPHC. For information on competing for this prize please send inquiries to Michael Burns.
Papers must be submitted in electronic format by August 26, 2024 to Michael Burns at smhatngphc@gmail.com
The William E. Lass Award will be awarded for the best student paper on any topic in the geographic spaces where Professor Lass, who was prolific, carried out research. This region includes Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska.
